Gang,
A brand new member here. Thanks in advance for your opinions on this.
I have a first-generation EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS bought new in 2007.
Just back from CPS with a full clean and check. They pronounced it in excellent shape. There is not a ding or scratch on it.
Would it be wise to sell it for a second-generation (EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II) model?
And if so, what do you think I might expect to get for the first-gen model?
Thanks again in advance!

I would, I did. That is just me but the version II is fantastic.
If you have everything, including the box, $800 for a quick sale. $900 if you hold out and it is in great shape.
