Sending "new" EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM to Canon for a once over

FedEx delivered my 'new' lens this afternoon. I'll send it to Canon so they can give it the once overs, clean and adjust. I talked to one of the CPS reps who told me that I should see turnaround of less than a week.

Sorry for the late reply, life happens. 

The lens came in within one day of Canon return shipping. When I contacted Canon they pulled up my work order and the comments the tech added showed nearly no sign of use and based on the serial number the lens is in pristine condition in relationship to its DOM.

I buy used equipment more often than not and what I buy shows little signs of use or abuse. I've take a few photos of my wife's extensive backyard garden and I am pleased with the results.

The EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM can either be a diamond or a lump of coal. It is certainly not a lens for everybody but I love mine.
