Lens not switching to MF

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I just bought a used lens on let go (Canon 24-1-5 f4 L Series). I use it on my canon rebel t6. The switch from af to mf physically switches but it stays in af. Is this something I can fix or is there possibly just something I'm not doing on my camera settings. (When i bought and tested out the lens it switched to mf perfectly).

Welcome to the forum. 

There is no camera control for AF. Try removing and reinstalling the lens just in case there was a poor connection. Otherwise it sounds like a sticky switch on the lens.

Just what exact lens did you get? Did you mean ef 24-105mm L ? If, yes,  which one?
