I recall a recent thread about the service life ending for this lens at the end of June 2025

From The Canon website reflecting End of Service. Undecided normally means there will be a couple years remaining prior to EOS.

It seems that I forgot the f/4 aperture part of the lens name in my earlier reply that was specific to the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM - apologies for the confusion.

A better course of action is to call Canon 1 (800) 652-2666 and ask.

"Im having focus issues with it?"

You know most OOF issues are user caused or faults and not camera/lens issues. Perhaps more details on what you are seeing or noticing can help. Examples, too, please.

Focus issues?  What camera body are you using with it?

Please post a sample photo with EXIF data, or post  RAW file to a public file sharing platform like Dropbox.

If you are using any filters, except a Clear filter, then remove it.  For whatever reason, most Canon super telephoto lenses seem to not perform as well with filters.
