I have just purchased a z (in Australia). After doing some test photos and noting down the parameters, I can see that the f is consistently higher than what is specified. Aperture priority Av setting on R5 is showing a minimum f of 6.7 for the 200 mm (rather than 6.3) and a minimum of 9.5 (not 9) for the 800 mm length, with similarly larger than specified f in between. This is obviously worse than what it should be.
R5 recognises the lens, the firmware version is 2.0.0 the latest for R5 and the lens is 1.0.4 (out of the box). There is no limit set to Aperture range in the Customisation menu. On the same camera, other lenses are showing the correct min value. This may be a faulty lens. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

That is because your exposure incremental is set to incremental at 1/2-stop each instead of 1/3.
You can change that setting at "Exposure level incrementals".
Hoped this helps.
