Budget Stretching: EOS R8 travel lens recommendations

Im heading to japan very soon so I intend on investing into the R8 (second hand) while im there and getting one very versatile travel lense! Love shooting very framed detailed zoom but also the casual portrait if i want to. So far i've seeing alot about the 24-240 but im worried for the low light side of it maybe its not enough (I did choose the R8 to get a full frame sensor and possibly counter balance the less good lense). I am far from being a pro or pixel checker it's for me to mostly have fun taking cool pics but i dont want to sacrifice too much quality. In resume i'd like to get some opinion on weather the 24-240 is a more than appropriate lense or steer clear of it.

"very framed detailed zoom"

Can you explain what this means?

Yes, a definition of the term.

Have fun and enjoy the scenery.

Greetings,

I want to hear the definition of this term also 🤣

But for lens recommendation....

RF 24-105 f4 or the RF 24-240 f4-6.3

And don't buy a 2nd hand R8. 😳

Grab a refurb directly from Canon.  😊
