A Sound with the Image stabilizer on the EF 24 - 105 F4 IS USM II

Hello all..!!

Its been a month since I purchased the EF 24 - 105 F4 IS USM (Version 2).

Recently, i noticed a small sound coming from the lens when the Image stabilizer engages & disengages. I cannot remember if this sound existed before. The video shows the sound from the lens (https://youtube.com/shorts/jS-N95YLujo).

Its stressing me out considering this is a new lens. Is this normal..? or is there an issue with me lens.?

My camera is a 2000D.

All lenses with IS will make some noise. I can't tell from your vid if it is too much. If it bothers you send it to Canon for evaluation. If there is a problem it will have to go there anyway.

Yes, that is normal. Mine makes the same noise.
