Just want to confirm, that these are busted pixel lines.

  • Lines are shown in some shooting methods but not all.1000054845.jpg

  • 1000054853.jpg

    1000054854.jpg

when picture is sent to phone, lines arent visible.

  • Worth keeping?
  • Is this normal?
  • Bad pixels?
  • Camera is new out of the box

The camera can be set to crop the image for you. I would double check your settings. I would also reset the camera back to factory default including custom functions. The camera must be set to the creative zone on the top mode dial (M, Av, TV & P) modes.

It appears that cropping has been set in the camera. What camera are you using it appears you're using a mount adapter. Is this the only lens that has that problem. The EF 75-300mm lens is very poor optically. It also uses a very slow AF motor called Micro Motor. This AF motor was first released in 1993.

Yes only lens that have this issue.  No cropping was done.  Simply picture taken and then picture review.

I try that tomorrow thanks

What other lenses do you have. The images with that lens shouldn't be cropped at all. When using EF-S or RF-S lenses on a Full Frame EOS R series camera. The image is cropped to the APS-C image circle to prevent vignetting. The EOS R100 is an APS-C camera therefore this shouldn't be happening.

Resetting the camera basic functions removed the cropping lines. As far as how i put that setting on there, not sure. I understand this camera and lens isnt the best of the best but so far im pleased with the results (cost+quality). Thanks again.
