Clearing error code C0000 on Pixma MP640

Is there a secret to clearing my printer of this error code C0000? I have Pixma MP640.I tried powering down and also unplugging for 15 minutes. Thanks for your input

PRINTER STOPPED PRINTING CONNECTED ONLINE .

My Canon MP190 says it is offline and won't print. However it is all plugged in.

What can I do to make the printer do what it is supposed to do? 

PIXMA MX 822 does not print Magenta.
