Why does my PIXMA TS3722 show up as a PIXMA TS3700 Series when I try to connect?
I have a Canon Pixma TS3722 that has been working fine until I noticed that it is registered as a Canon Pixma TS3700 on my computer and prevents me from using certain options, I've tried deleting and reinstalling but the issue itself is it appearing as a Canon Pixma TS3700 when I try to connect via WIFI, please help!

Thanks for joining the conversation, CadenceV! While I don't have information on how to get those options working, I can explain the model number mismatch. Your printer is part of a larger family of printers that make up the PIXMA TS3700 series. The model numbers vary depending on what part of the world that specific version is designed for with the US versions getting the model numbers TS3720 and TS3722. Hope that clears up that part of it!
So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or macOS, and which version thereof). That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

I am on a Windows 10 64x, as for other details the only thing I can think of being an issue is my printer is connected through WiFi, not cable.

Greetings ,
The device identification is the series and may not reflect the individual model. This is completely normal. This does not prevent you from using features of your device. What are you not able to do?

I got my printer in order to help me make tshirts, I've researched the printer model I currently have and it says that I am able to use "fabric transfers" as a media type however it does not show me that option, other resources have stated the I can used "glossy photo paper" as another option to print on a fabric transfer but that won't work either! I just want to be able to print shirt designs.
