Hello all,
I have a new Pixma TR4720 in my office, and almost immediately after set up, after every print job, it gives a message of "Please wait momentarily."
It does not go away and even stayed on the entire night while we were out of office. The only thing that resolves the issue, is unplugging it, rebooting it, and then it will print the job that was attempted before the reboot. Then, it goes right back to "Please wait momentarily."
Has anyone experienced this, and if so, were you able to resolve?
Thank you!

This happens on computers running both Windows 10 and macOS Ventura.

Hi,
I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer. If the same message appears the printer will require service.
If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

Thank you for your response. It is related to my problem, not sure if it is better to return the printer and if as mentioned above it is related to Windows 10. I have a new TR4720 All-in-One and I am trying to print duplex. I see the same "Please wait momentarily" message on screen.
