When I use the Canon website, I am told: "Canon will not issue drivers for this model to support the Windows 10 operating system. The Windows 7 or Windows 8 drivers should function in the Windows 10 environment with some limitations which are currently unknown to Canon."
Okay, so I downloaded the older driver that seemed like it would be a fit:
md64-win-mx330-1_02-ej
That was associated with Windows 8.1 (x64).
Choosing Windows 8 (x64) seemed to result in the same download as for above.
Doesn't install though. Hangs while trying to recognize the connected and powered-on printera. After many minutes, this is what it says:
"Cauton! Cannot detect the printer. Check that the printer is on and that the cable is connected. If the printer has not been detected even though it is connected, disconnect the cable from the printer and then reconnect it."
I've been through that merry-go-round several times, now.
Any ideas what to try next?
