I have a Pixma TS3722 printer When I am done using it I used to be able to push the switch and it would shut down. Now I have to push the switch and it keeps on flashing. Sometimes if I push it enough times it might shut off, if it doesn't I have to unplug it.

Don't bother turning it off, you won't save more than a dimes worth of power if you do and you risk losing wifi connectivity, or printer cues jammed up. I don't turn off my PC, or my printer ever.
