PIXMA G6020 jammed label sheet

swflflam
Contributor

I fed a sheet of labels into the rear tray.  They jammed.  I can see the top of the sheet, but it will not move. first thing I did was turn off the printer.

How do I clear this or have I created a boat anchor?  Can anyone help?

Thank you

To clear the jammed paper from your G6020, please follow the steps provided on both of these pages from the online manual:

G6020 > Paper Jams > Paper Is Jammed inside Printer

G6020 > Paper Jams > Removing Jammed Paper from Rear Side

unfortunately, it's a sheet of labels...And no one ever sees the word labels.  I can clear paper, but the labels will not budge

Its a tough one to fix, this video shows how to remove a really bad paper jam, does not mention lables, which can curl off and stick themselves inside the printer.

Thanks.  And yes, I already saw that one.  I guess the printer is trash since it's out of warranty and would cost more to ship and get repaired than I paid for it,  Oh well, all experience comes from making decisions, even wrong ones
