PIXMA G4280 - can't set up because Printer Head won't move

Bought my 1st G4280-FEB 2025, but was having printing issues after it went thru an update.  Canon Support decided to send me a new G4280.  Plugged it in, but i can't set it up because the Printer Heads won't move to the center when you open the Unit. (Support Code 1470)
I don't want to force them & I have searched online without a solution.  (solution keeps sending me to a page that says it will move to center automatically when you open the unit 😡😡😡
Any help?

No it doesn't help at all.
Your post is the "very general" instructions of downloading the Master Setup files.

My post was about the fact that it won't even let me get 2 steps after turning the printer on.

Canon printer code 1470 means the print head is not installed properly, common on G-series printers like G7020, GX1020, G3270, G2270, G6020, G3010 series https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART175725, https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART183951, https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART181469, https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART181349, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaPbm1Jgo2E,. To fix it, open the scanner, firmly press the print head locking cover and the joint buttons until they click, then close the cover; if that fails, gently remove, clean contacts, and reinstall the print heads, ensuring all orange tape is removed and they lock securely.
