I have a new pixma ip8750. The prints are darker tha what is on my moitor.

I have downloaded new drivers and Image garden to no effect.

Previously I had a HP photo printer which gave good prints but died.

Have tried various driver settinsgs but all prints came out closely the same. Dark.

any ideas ?

Set your monitor brightness at about 50% level and be sure no light is shining directly on the monitor surface.
