My Canon Pixma iP2820 will NOT print attachment documents sent from individuals or organizations. I get a "printer off-line" message. Printing docs from my computer does work normally so it isn't an issue of the printer being off-line or an issue of a bad USB cable. The printer is plugged directly into the wall. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers to no effect. I have tried using both control/P and the printer icons as well to attempt printing. Any suggestions welcome.

Hi mrbill767,
So we can better assist you, please reply with the following information:
1. If you download the attachments from your email onto a location on your computer, are you able to print them successfully?
2. What file type are the attachments (PDF, MS Word documents, etc.)?
3. What operating system is on your computer?
4. What email program or app do you use?
We look forward to hearing from you!
