MX890 will not print. It goes through the motions of printing but nothing comes out.

MX890 will not print. It goes through all the motions of printing but the paper comes out blank. I have had this printer

for about 7 months. I went through all the maintenance subjects on the menu but still I get nothing.

Hi JeffLiu,

When ink does not appear on the page and it has already been verified that the ink tanks have adequate ink, we recommend performing at least one cleaning and two deep cleanings on the unit to try and get the ink to print.  If the ink still does not print, the printer may require servicing; we ask that you please call or email us using one of the methods on the Contact Us page for further assistance.
