Hi, I have tried auto-deep cleaning several times for my MG7720. The attachment shows how PGBK patterns are misaligned. Does anyone know what I should do to fix this? Everything printed in black will be blurry, like there's a shadow for each character.

I am also experiencing these exact same issues for the last couple years now. I've tried everything, print head alignments (auto and manual), countless cleanings (regular and deep), etc. It says my firmware is the latest. I'm out of ideas. My husband wants to get rid of it. but I love my printer and would much rather fix the issue. Hopefully someone can help 🖨

Hi luenceles,
Blurry printing can be caused when the encoder/timing strip inside your PIXMA MG7720 is smudged.
Cleaning this will resolve the issue.
To clean the encoder/timing strip, please follow the steps in this Knowledgebase Article:
Cleaning the encoder (timing) strip - MG7700 series

Hi I tried to clean the encoder timing strip. However, it got a B203 error after I cleaned it. Is there a way to resolve this? I only clear the plastic strip with the alcohol
