Hi Susiebell41!

To ensure the most accurate information is provided, we will need to know the version of Windows or Mac in use, as well as how you have the printer connected (USB or wireless).

If this is a time-sensitive matter, our US-based technical support team is standing by, ready to help 24/7 via Email athttp://bit.ly/EmailCanonor by phone at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) weekdays between 10 AM and 10 PM ET (7 AM to 7 PM PT).

Thanks and have a great day!

I just posted the same problem with the same printer.  The heading of my post is "hBJMaintenance error".  I have listed a lot of detail of my issue, and my computer.  If you can help I will be forever grateful. One Canon support rep told me it was a Windows problem and that I should contact Microsoft. Another said it was a computer hardware problem and to contact Acer.  A third, non Canon rep sat it was a printer hardware problem.  The bottom line is nobody knows how to fix it, so it must be someone else's fault.

Hi sonny8360,

The error that you are experiencing is a Windows error.  Please make sure that your version of Windows is up to date.  You can do this by visiting www.windowsupdate.com

After updated, please attempt to install your PIXMA MG2920 again.  If the error reappears, please check your hard drive for errors.  Please use the following link for assistance with this:
