My printer has worked perfectly for years. Now I get an error message when I try to print from the computer. Says it isn't connected to the computer. The cable is in place. I removed it and put it back in. I recently changed modems. Could this be an issue. I am not trying to print wirelessly.

I figured out the problem. I went into the printer settings and added the printer again. It now works.
