I opened my printer just for an inspection but the print head doesn't move to the center, come to think of it I don't think it did after printhead installation. The printer is basically brand new I bought it in April 2024. Is there a button or some way to make the printhead move to the center? I also have another question about the warning due to improper shutdown. The power went out and I keep getting the warning before printing. I usually shutdown everything in a storm due to power failure being common here but that day it was a beautiful sunny day. n;(

Hi,
Try the steps HERE to see if the print head will move to center.
If there is still an issue, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
