G3202 Printer - DO NOT BUY: DOES NOT SUPPORT APPLE AIRPRINT

I just purchased a G3202 printer after my Canon MX922 stopped working with continuous error codes.  Against my better judgement I went with another Canon product.  After setting up the printer to my network it became abundantly clear to me that the printer does not support Apple Airprint.  What!  Why would they even make a product that does not support this?

This is going to be a problem at my house as everyone has apple phones, etc.  Not sure if I can return the printer as the ink is in it,etc.  Not to mention the brain damage involved with setting it up and going to the store, etc.

Suggestion:  Make all wireless printer work with Airprint.  My old MX922 did?  Now, my NEW printer does not?  I have to go through an ap that I can only print saved files?  This thing is a pain in the ass.  A big miss b y Canon.  I wouls have gladly paid a little more so it would work with Airprint.  I am never buying Canon again.

Have you downloaded and tried the Canon PRINT app for iOS?

I also have the same problem, and it's terrible, they need to fix it.

AirPrint is a simplified driver for situations where Canon doesn't provide a dedicated driver. Canon provides full drivers for the latest versions of Windows and macOS. Just connect via Wi-Fi. They also provide mobile apps for Apple and Android devices.

If you are having problems connecting via Wi-Fi register your product and contact Canon support.
