I've recently gotten a Mac, after using a PC. I'm trying to fax from the Mac through a PIXMA MX492 multifunction printer (which worked just fine on the PC). The instructions on the Mac support site say Open your PDF document, select file -> print, and then choose the PDF pop up window to select Fax PDF. I do all that, but there is no Fax PDF option to select. Any suggestions? I loaded the latest software and drivers on both the printer and the Mac.
