Hi, I have already tried the suggested trouble shooting steps but the error message is still there....

Please try reseating the print head.  Step-by-step directions can be found on the link below:

I followed the instructions and I still the same message but also, the three color lights are blinking, black one is semi full. Could it be that this problem occured because I have nto replaced the color cartridges?

I have an MX892 that has worked perfectly until last night.  I now have a useless electronic device that will do nothing.  I've read through 50% of the posts on this site and have seen several post in which Canon has sent a PM to the person who posted offering to and then replacing several different models of the printers with newer replacement models.  I would like to know if this is still happening or if Canon has now decided to take a different position.  If this offer still exists, I would like very much to receive that same PM offer and look forward to having my replacement delivered ASAP.
