Differences between Canon printer models

TonyLuigiC

I see a great many Canon ink tank printers priced (or on sale for) under $250. But I don’t see what the difference is from one printer to another.

I’d appreciate if someone could point me to a comparison. Or explain the differences if there’s no comparison available.

Thank you

Greetings ,

Canon has a great printer buyers guide.

Here are the mega tank offerings

The product pages have a compare check box which allow you to compare different models side by side.

You can also call or chat with a sales representative if you have questions.

I can't answer your question but in my experience, some of the major differences will be:

  • Does it have an ADF (automatic document feed)
  • Does it do automatic duplex printing
  • If it has an ADF, does it have duplex scanning (ie, can it automatically scan both sides of the page)
  • Size of cassette
  • Print speed (note that in my experience, print speed is accurate for text docs, not for graphics)
  • Color LCD display vs B&W
