Cleaning and or Deep Cleaning cycles are likely your best bet at resolution based upon what I've seen from similar issues on this site.  Then run a nozzle check ever week or two as possible to keep the ink flowing properly. (Yes, I know it's hard to do that when you're on travel for a month 🙂

Sorry to hear that you are having this issue - seems to be a non uncommon one.

>> Owns/Owned both Canon EOS mirrorless full-frame and APS-C cameras and associated RF, RF-S and EF adapted lenses - inventory tends to change on short notice. Same for flashes, tripods, bags, straps, etc.

>>The opinions and assistance are my own. Please don't blame Canon for any mistakes on my part.

Thanks but I have already done everything you suggested & it’s no different. Any other ideas?

Run an Ink Flush, its the last resort for a tank printer when other maintenance procedures do not work.

Performing an Ink Flush on the PIXMA G3675

To successfully perform an ink flush on your Canon PIXMA G3675 printer, follow these steps:

Preparation Steps

  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the ink levels for all colors are sufficient. If any color is below the single dot level, refill the corresponding ink tank.
  • Check Maintenance Cartridge: Verify that there is enough free space in the maintenance cartridge. If the space is low, replace it with a new one.

Ink Flush Procedure

  1. Turn On the Printer: Make sure your printer is powered on.
  2. Access Maintenance Menu:

    • Select Maintenance on the printer's display.
    • Press the OK button.
  3. Select Ink Flush:

    • Choose Ink Flush and press OK.
  4. Choose Color Option:

    • Select All colors, Color, or BK (black) and press OK.
  5. Confirm Action:

    • Check the displayed message, select Yes, and then press OK.
  6. Wait for Completion: Do not operate the printer during the ink flush process, which takes approximately 5 to 6 minutes to complete.

Important Notes

  • Performing an ink flush consumes a significant amount of ink, so it should only be done when necessary.
  • Ensure that the printer has adequate ink and maintenance cartridge space to avoid potential damage.
