Canon Pixma MG3051 - printing w/o color ink cartridges

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a Pixma MG3051, but 99% of my printing will be b&w. Does anyone know if the printer will work w/o color cartridges installed (to save money)?

what about my canon pixma MG2522. will it still prit with one new ink cartrige andthe olld one with barely any ink left in it?

Hi,

You can set the printer to use the black cartridge only. If you are using Windows click HERE and please click HERE for the steps if you are using a Mac.
