So I have a MG2920 inkjet printer that I bought back in 2015, which has always worked fine, but suddenly it's started having trouble printing blue. At first the blue was streaky, but the ink was low in the cartridge so I went ahead and changed it out with a brand new one, but instead of fixing the problem, it got worse. Now I can't get any blue to print at all. I tried the Cleaning option under Maintenance, then Deep Cleaning, to no avail. Then I watched a YouTube video on how to unclog print heads and tried that, and when I blot it against a paper towel I can see all three colors, but when I try to print, there's no blue whatsoever. Is there a part inside the printer itself that I can remove and/or clean somehow? Thanks for any and all help!

Hi bevitty,
Replacing the color ink cartridge and then performing one or two cleanings should have gotten blue to print from your PIXMA MG2920. Because it did not , your PIXMA MG2920 would require service. You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.
