I am unable to upload any pictures or video from my SD card, only from video from the built in mem

I have a vixia hfm50. I got 2 software disk of which only 1 would install (videobrowser ver.2.0) The other disk (vixia 1.2) would not. The disk would stop half way through. I can only upload video from the built in memory (no pictures) I cannot

Upload anything from the 64gb sdxc card, I have initilized the sd card but this did not help. Can someone please help?

Check to see if your card reader accepts sdxc cards. It may just accept sdhc and sd. Try using one of these or using a dedicated sdxc card reader.

Very good point. Older readers may not see a card designed after they were produced. The same thing happened when SDHC came onto the scene.
