On my new computer, the canon utility 3.16 does not work with my Canon 5D Mark 4 and my Mac running Ventura 13.3
The EOS utility opens, but does not recognized my camera when I plug it via the USB.
Any help is welcomed

If your Mac is an M1 or M2 device this might help:

It is indeed a M2, but does not work though. When I open the window, it does not recognized it, although I gave it access and provided full disk access to the Utility

Does Apple Image Capture see your camera?

I have an EOS M50 via USB on Mac and so far everything has worked (with WebCam Utility 1.0).
Since some weeks the mac do not recognize the camera.
The Canon service writes:
"To use your EOS M50 as a webcam, you need the EOS Webcam Unity software, which is unfortunately not available for MacOS Ventura 13.2.1. "
I hope Canon offers a new WebCam utility soon.

I have a MacBook Air M2 with up to date macOS 13. I can access my camera via EOS Utility. When I first got the computer I used Time Machine to transfer the info from my previous MacBook Air. At the time both machines were on macOS 12. That may be relevant.
I see that the release notes for EOSU 3.16.11 say that the camera cannot be accessed via USB with Ventura.

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply. I transferred the data from on my new Macbook Pro using time machine too, but it was directly system 13.3. The problem is that I am taking most of my photographs in my cellar by remote shooting and Wifi does not go through the walls. So I am stuck until Canon resolves this. The display from my old Macbook Pro died last month, so I am short of options...
