Hello CanonFanJK,
Yes those tiny screws are tight! I changed mine on three bodies myself and prefer the replacement. I used a small jewelers screwdriver and took my time.

Thanks for your feedback! I ended up going to a local camera repair shop to help me. I was too scared to do the work myself seeing how stuck in there the screws were.

I just changed mine as well. And yeah, those screws are tight. The eye cup I bought included a tiny screwdriver and 4 extra screws (I can see how you could easily loose one!). Have to be careful not to cross thread them, making sure I had it perpendicular I turned the screw counter clockwise a little first until felt it “click”, then screwed it down until it was tight.
The photo shows the new one installed and the old one leaning against the box. Huge difference in both size and comfort. Much easier to look thru the view finder now.

Agreed, much better seal, eliminates light leak and if you have a larger nose....like me it stops it from pressing up against the back of the camera.
