Will it work with a basic Eye-Fi SD card and/or the later Pro X2 cards? The Canon website is kind of vague about this and just suggests that compatibility is not guaranteed. Has anyone tried this with a plain vanilla G9? Or is the CamRanger SD card better for this?
I needed an upgrade from my old ELPH 100HS and kind-of bought the G9 by mistake, thinking was a G9X model. At least it was cheap... and hoping that I can get it (with an Eye-Fi card) to connect to my PC for wireless transfer.
Or... are they just not worth the hassle (short range/slow transfer speeds). I'm already direct connecting my ELPH to my pc for transfers - and I'm used to that.

Food for thought, The company that made the Eye-Fi cards folded several years ago.
