I have my audio inputs and outputs set to ALL/ALL. That tells me that the audio input ch1 & ch2 should be mixed and output both Left and Right side.
Currently I am using just a single input on CH2 and When listening with headphone the audio is on the right side but very faint left side. Once i put the video into Imovie I am only hearing audio out of the right side?
with the setting to ALL/All take the audio and clearly output to both the left and right side evenly?
Or is the ALL/ALL taking input from CH1 & Ch2 and mixing it to output left and right?
I am trying to elevate making audio channel changes when in different situations.

Hi Bidness,
Setting inputs and outputs to ALL should mix the channels as you suggested, but it is possible that the mic is recording different levels to different channels, perhaps as a padding option. Other mics might record a mono track to R or L channel and leave the other one empty.
Which mic are you using? Check the specs to see if you can adjust what gets recorded to each track. Try doing tests with another mic to see if the issue persists.
Also what happens when you use the camera’s built-in mic?

Hello thank you for the response. I am using the Sure MV7X. I will definitely investigate this mic. And your other recommendations.
