I built a "camera rig" for use with my DSLR camera that utilizes a single NP-F970 battery to power not only an external 7 inch LCD monitor, but also the DSLR via a "dummy battery" that inserts into the camera's battery compartment that has a length of cable coming out to plug into the NP-F970 battery plate.
The battery is 7.4 volts, 7900 mAh and should - in theory - be able to power my XA-11 camcorder that I now want to use on the camera rig instead of my DSLR - IF there is a way to do it.
Has anyone ever done anything like this, or know of a way to do so??
Thanks for reading!
