I apologize if this thread seems to point elsewhere but the truth is it would take YEARS to type it all again.
I am a cameraman (travel blogger) that is going to be shooting a TV series for a worldwide trip soon. i will be traveling overland on a mountain bike and have limited gear with me. my series will be filmed in a partial doc/movie format.

I am now pretty sure I have rounded it off to the list of cameras you see below, i do not want to buy something I will not need, but also do not want to go in under geared!
Any help from this community would be very helpful.

BTW My ideal pick so far would be the XA-10, it is newer, no DV tape/adapters. Lightweight, can see in the dark ( I think) and seems to have all I need, plus its priced right. But I do want the forum to weigh in on what they think!
