Canon G60 Faint vertical noise banding in night videos!

Wondering if its normal or a defect? Thanks.

You can faintly see it in this YT video- but the YT compression has mostly washed over it.

The banding is vertical in the noise and NOT the circular banding around the moon.

I'm not seeing what you describe.  Can you perhaps take a screenshot of a still frame before uploading to YouTube? i.e. hopefully from the original footage.

I downloaded the 4K/2160p (mkv) and HD/1080p (mp4) YouTube encodes of your video (with 4K Video Downloader) to examine more closely (in Davinci Resolve), and likewise can not see the 'vertical banding' you are referring to, at least on my PC monitor. It could definitely do with denoising though.

Are you maybe seeing this on a 4K TV screen? OLED displays are prone to vertical banding, especially with scenes like that - haze over dark-background.
