Can I use a BeacTek DXA-4P on my Vixia HF G30 to convert to XLR mic connections?

On my old GL2 I used a BeachTek DXA-4P to convert mic connection to XLR. I just plugged the DXA-4P plug into the GL2 external mic female connector on the GL2. Can I use the BeacTek DXA-4P on my Vixia HF G30 to convert to XLR mic connections rather than the standard connectors? How would I do it on the Vixia HF G30?

I have a similar adapter but haven't tried it yet with a Vixia HF G20.  Before the weekend is over I will try to run a test and see if works and let you know whether it does or not.  The only way to know for sure is to do a test run.

Come to find out I have the DXA-4P as well.  I finally tested it today and yes it does work.
