I have a Vixia HFM31 that I put on a 15 ft tripod to live stream hs soccer games. I would like to find a Lanc remote to add zoom to the set up, what do I need to know as far as how it hooks up? If I have the HDMI pulgged into my streaming device does anyone kow where the remote plugs in?

That camcorder does not have a Lanc remote socket. It only has a wireless remote.
