I own two G40s and one G30. I will be doing a multi-day video shoot, during which I will have little time to swap out SD cards. I always shoot using the second SD card as a full resolution backup, so I need to max out the size of my cards for this shoot. The cameras will be plugged into A/C power - so battery capacity is not an issue.

Does anyone know the "actual" maximum card size these camcorders can handle, without any issues?

Hello Qoncussion, 

The specifications for the VIXIA HF G30 and HF G40 show card capacities up to 128GB being used to record video.
