I am using my backup R800 as a security camera to monitor pets and I had it recording overnight but at a certain point, I could not view footage for at least 3 hours. Could it be the SD card being the issue?
The SD card is certainly a possible suspect for this issue. Another thing to check would be the operating temperature. Since you were recording overnight I imagine temperature is less of an issue but if the power supply or imaging sensor in the camera get too hot the unit may power down for the safety of the hardware.
