I want to playback of video from my XA35 produced on Premiere

I do live sporting events for the local cable company and I would like to playback a video of commercials during halftime. I've tried to transfer files to the SD card and then playthem back but the camera does not recognize them. Any ideas on how they need to formatted?

The camera will not recognize any video files not produced by the camera itself.  You will have to add a playback device, and some means to switch between the two video sources.
