Canon Vixia W11 Tearing when moving

Hey there, I just got my camera and it has a lot of tearing like so when I move it:

It looks like interlaced footage but the camera only records progressive. You may have a defective one there. I would take it back to where you bought it.

It does look like something is not quite right with your camcorder. If you're seeing several clips play back like that, even when played back on your camera, then I suggest that you email us at hdvideo@cits.canon.com with details about your camera, your date of purchase, and the state from where you are sending the camera, and we'll walk you through the repair process.
