Thank you for using Canon products. Apple is preparing to release new Mac OS X v10.12 Sierra. During our testing of the pre-release version of Mac OS X v10.12 Sierra, we discovered some compatibility issues with Canon’s Camera Window DC, EOS Utility and Map Utility software programs that may cause certain functions of such software not to work. Once Apple releases the official version of Mac OS X v10.12 Sierra, our plan is to test these software programs with this official version and then release compatibility information around the end of the September 2016. If you have any of these software programs, we recommend that you wait to upgrade to Mac OS X v10.12 Sierra until after our testing is complete.
We will share the compatibility information with you through a follow-up email to be released around the end of September, 2016.
