topic EOS M50 mark 2 Webcam application in EOS Webcam Utility Pro - Discussions

I am trying to set up a multi camera streaming platform with up to 8 cameras being available at any given time. The M50 mark 2 is the camera I would like to use for this setup as the price point and lens options are by far the best for the application I'm using it for. However I'd like it to be able to stream for 2-3 hours at a time with no interferance or further input and it seems that even using HDMI out there is still a 30 minute time limit before it turns off the display.

Is there a way around this? Why have a clean HDMI out if you are limited to 30 minutes of display time with it? I understand that there is a way around this with the canon webcam utility, however that is limited to a single camera and I believe you need a USB connection for that to function which will not work for me.

Is there a way around this or do I need to find a different product?

Found the answer thanks to canon customer service, but wanted to post it here for anyone else having the same issue.

You cannot solve this in the power savings settings, what you have to do is go into the video settings and set the camera to a clean HDMI out feed at the resolution you want and it will automatically bypass the display off setting. It also disables the ability to record and connecto to wifi with the camera but thats 100% fine for what I am doing.
