This does not fix my problem. I've been experiencing the same issue since updating to macOS Sequoia. I have a Canon R5 connected to a high bandwidth USB-C to USB-C cable. The camera won't freeze but the preview in EOS Webcam Utility will. Please Fix Canon!

I have a Canon T6i as a webcam, an M1 Mac running Sequoia, and v2.3 of the EOS webcam utility. In virtual meetings, my camera freezes unpredictably. The solution to temporarily unfreeze the camera is to turn the camera off in the virtual meeting, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on. This is really annoying 😞

Hello crabrave,

You may want to check the [Auto power off] setting and disable that on the camera. This can be found in the yellow wrench menu #2.
