      <title>EOS Webcam Utility 'EWC Service' failed to start</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've used the program many times on this laptop. In fact, I used it last week. Suddenly, the program stopped working and would not open. I uninstalled the program and tried to reinstall it. Now it will not install at all. Every time I go to install the program it says ''Service 'EWXService' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.'' I am the administrator on the laptop and as stated I had it previously installed and it worked fine until it didn't.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I don't know what the problem is or how to fix it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

They're at 800-652-2666 during the week from 9am to 6pm (ET).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I went to install install the EOS Webcam Utility Pro and ran into the same issue. The EWCService would fail to start during the install. Here is what fixed it for me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Ensure you are running the setup file as an admin user.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Verify you have the lastest VC++ runtime libraries installed. I used the 64bit version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can download the latest VC++ from microsoft's website here&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-microsoft-visual-c-redistributable-version" target="_blank"&gt;https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-microsoft-visual-c-redistributable-version&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
