EOS Webcam Utility Pro only shows bar that says it's running and that's it

So I installed v 2.3 for Mac. When I start the EOS Webcam Utility Pro I do not get a window, only the top bar on the screen says it's running. Nothing else. No picture, no nothing. And I can't close it without a force quit. So need to force quit even to reboot the computer. MacBook Pro with an M3 Pro chip. MacOS 15.0.1.
