I am trying to use my Canon Rebel T3 as a webcam for OBS. I installed the utility, and se the camera for 1280x720, 30 and plugged it in with a known working USB cord, and when I select the Webcam Utility in OBS, I get the screen with a shutter and the camera and exclamation point icon. OBS is the only thing runnning on the computer. The camera's screen is blank, and the red "drive" light is on CONSTANTLY like the actual camera is in a crash state. If I watch it, the lcd with flicker like it's trying to see something but nother ever comes of it. I've messed with the resolution settings in OBS to no avail.

I'm working with as I'd said, a EOS Rebel T3, which is listed, and plugging into a 2012 Mac Pro Tower with 20 GB RAM, 8 GB GPU and ooodles of Hard Drive space. I'm using one of the front USB ports on the Pro.

FWIW, it also does the same thing on my 2015 Macbook Pro, also running Mojave.

Help?
