EOS Webcam Utility - Unable to subscribe or use

Despite several hours worth of trying over several days I am unable to subscribe to the eos webcam utility pro version either from the software where I get an "access denied" message even though I am logged in, or from the canon website where the sidebar mentioned in the video does not appear and there is no discoverable option to upgrade the website. I am in Denmark and can find nothing on the Danish Canon website either. This is extremely discouraging and may force me to abandon my efforts to use a Canon camera. Thanks for your advice.

I believe the EOS Webcam Utility 2 is limited to users in North America or the US.

Have the same issue, sort of. And I am in the US.
Webcam utility not installing/doesn't work. (two issues)
